Terms of use
Fair participation. Clear expectations.
1. About the service
StrainArena is a FiftyOne product: a builder leaderboard using authorized WHOOP data alongside public business profiles. The founding pilot is free. StrainArena is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WHOOP.
2. Your account and participation
Use accurate account and profile information, connect only a WHOOP account you are authorized to use, and keep access to your sign-in account secure. Do not impersonate another person or business. Admission depends on available capacity; registration alone does not guarantee a place.
3. Fair use
Do not manipulate health data, rankings or click counts; bypass access controls or request limits; or use the service to distribute harmful, unlawful or misleading content. Do not publish someone else’s private information or material you do not have permission to use.
Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or comply with law. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request a review. Urgent security or legal concerns may require immediate action.
4. Scores and health information
Scores follow the published scoring method and depend on the data available from WHOOP. Results can change as data arrives or is corrected. A rank does not guarantee business traffic, revenue or any reward.
The leaderboard is not medical advice, a fitness assessment or a training prescription. Do not change your training or disregard professional advice to improve a score.
5. Your content and privacy choices
You retain ownership of the profile content you provide. You give StrainArena permission to host and display it only as needed to operate the features and sharing settings you choose. You must have the rights to any names, logos, images and links you submit.
WHOOP collection, public leaderboard display, expanded profiles, daily history and additional private sync have separate controls as described in our Privacy page. Viewing these terms does not grant health-data consent. Turning off public sharing stops further display through that feature, but cannot recall copies already made by others.
6. Business links and third-party services
Builder websites and third-party services have their own terms and policies. A listing, click count or revenue badge is not an endorsement or a guarantee of a business’s claims. External links outside demo mode may include the referral label strainarena.com; it does not affect ranking.
7. Free access and future paid features
Core leaderboard participation and basic weekly summaries stay free. All charts, activity calendars, trends and comparisons require Pro Builder access. Pro Builder features and prices shown as planned are not a current purchase offer. Any future purchase will require a separate, explicit checkout with its price, billing, cancellation and applicable refund terms shown before payment. Pilot membership does not authorize an automatic paid upgrade.
8. Availability and changes
The pilot may experience interruptions, delayed syncs or errors. We aim to correct issues and communicate material changes that affect participation or data use. New uses of health data beyond your existing consent require a separate choice. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Leaving the arena
You can hide your public results or disconnect WHOOP in your account. Disconnecting stops further collection and removes local health data as explained in the Privacy page; it does not itself delete your sign-in account. Contact support for account deletion or a review of an account restriction.
